Mario Palos Garza Honored with “The Future of Texas Award”

On October 29, 2025, in Laredo, Texas, Mr. A.A. Mario Palos Garza, President of Grupo Palos Garza, was honored with the “The Future of Texas Award”, presented by State Representative Richard Peña Raymond, District 42.

This prestigious recognition is awarded to business leaders who, through their vision, dedication, and commitment, have contributed to the well-being of the community, driving job creation, investment, and economic development throughout the border region.

During the ceremony, Representative Raymond highlighted Mr. Palos Garza’s leadership, professional excellence, and long-standing contribution to the growth of the transportation and logistics sector between Mexico and the United States, as well as his continued efforts to make Laredo, Texas, a better place to live and work.

The event was attended by several local officials and elected representatives, including Councilwoman Vanessa Pérez, Councilman Rubén Gutiérrez, County Attorney Marco Montemayor, District Attorney Isidro Alaniz, and Constable Guadalupe Gómez, among others, who joined in recognizing this outstanding example of business leadership and community commitment.

During the same event, Mr. Ernesto Gaytán, President of Super Transportes Internacional (STI), was also recognized for his remarkable contribution to the regional transportation industry.
